Frequently asked questions about our detailing services.

General Questions

Which parts of Columbia do you service?

We service the Northeast area in addition to Camden, Elgin, and Lugoff.

Same day service or appointment?

Depending on the day, we may have openings, and we can try to fit you in our schedule. We prefer to have an appointment set up at least 24 hours in advance, so we can better service you!

When you come, do I have to be there?

You do not have to be present during the time of our services, which is the beauty of being a Mobile Car Detailing unit. We are able to bring the detailing services to you, and we will service your vehicle while you are in the comfort of your home or job location. All we need is the key to clean the interior of your vehicle, if that is included in the package that you select.

What if it rains on the day of my appointment?

If rain is forecasted, we’ll contact you to discuss rescheduling options. We want to ensure the best results for your vehicle, and detailing in wet conditions can compromise the quality of our work.

Interior related questions

Will detailing remove stains from my upholstery?

We use professional-grade cleaners and techniques to remove most stains from fabric and upholstery. While some stains may be permanent depending on the material and how long they’ve set in, we’ll do our best to lift as much of the stain as possible without damaging your interior.

Is seat and carpet shampooing included in the Full Works detail package?

Seat and carpet shampooing is not automatically included with our full interior package. We found that most people who book our full interior package do not need their seats and carpets shampooed, so we took that out of our initial pricing. However, if you would like these services, we still provide them at an additional cost!

How long does the full interior detail take?

Depending on your vehicle size and condition, this service can average between 1-2 hours for sedans and coupes. For larger vehicles, such as trucks and SUVs, the full interior detail will take 3-4 hours.

Do you clean leather seats?

Absolutely! We clean and condition leather seats to ensure they stay soft, supple, and protected from cracking. Our process includes deep cleaning to remove dirt and oils followed by the application of a high-quality leather conditioner to nourish and protect the material.

Exterior related Questions

How often should I get my car’s exterior detailed?

It depends on the driving conditions and how much time the vehicle spends outdoors. On average, an exterior detailing service is recommended every 3-6 months to maintain the vehicle's protection and appearance. If you live in areas with harsh weather or high pollution, more frequent detailing may be necessary.

Can detailing protect my vehicle from the elements?

Yes, exterior detailing helps protect your vehicle from the elements. The application of wax or paint sealant provides a protective layer that shields the paint from contaminants like water, dirt, and bird droppings, as well as UV rays. This makes your car easier to clean and helps maintain its shine for longer.

Will detailing my car's exterior remove all dirt and grime?

Yes, exterior detailing is designed to thoroughly clean and remove dirt, grime, tar, tree sap, and other contaminants from the vehicle’s surface. If the vehicle is extremely dirty, we may need to perform additional steps to ensure all the build-up is removed, such as a pre-wash treatment or clay bar treatment.

Will detailing fix faded paint or oxidation?

While exterior detailing can improve the appearance of faded or oxidized paint, severe fading or oxidation may require more intensive paint correction services. We can polish the surface to restore some of its original shine, but for deeper restoration, you may need a professional paint correction treatment.
